H. Multidens

I'm still trying to work out some details but I may be getting a pair of these guys or at least I hope. I've wanted them for years now. Does anyone have any experience with this fish? It comes from the Congo region and has a similar temperment as a Frontosa so I am assuming it has the same PH requirements as a Frontosa? If anyone has any experience with this species I would love to hear from you. Not very much info about PH requirements on the web and I've even read some are kept with Apistos which really surprises me.

You may already know of this, but there is an excellent article in the July 2007 issue of Cichlid News vol. 16 No. 3 by Oliver Lucanus called Heterochromis Multidens, an Ancient Cichlid, with fabulous photos.
And if you get them spawning them Mike, put me in line for fry.
And Matt, glad to see you are no longer confusing yourself with Tim
