Beautiful,
I try to add plants to all my cichlid tanks, although not always with the best results,
with Gymnogeophagus it works pretty good.

Beautiful tank and your plants look very healthy. I was trying to go with a heavy ground cover and think I may have gone overboard lol. I am going to spent the week getting it right, setting up a DIY co2 system and will post some other pics once i'm satisfied with the results. At the moment mine seems a bit cluttered but the plants seem to be responding well. I think my Adaketo will be happy in this tank.

Thanks Jim, I set this tank up in my bedroom instead of downstairs like my other tanks. its a nice addition to the room and I just hope I'm able to maintain the plants. I can't even keep a ficus tree alive so a tank of plants will be a real challenge for me.

Here are two pics of a long-fin gold ram in her favorite spot among the leaves of an anubias plant from a couple of years ago. Of course, the tetras showed up better. lol
