Congratulations on the new

fish.
I don't know that there's anything as easy to breed as convicts, however

Kribensis are not difficult to breed. Keeping your water clean with a pH close to neutral is always

helpful, although Kribensis do well in quite a large pH range. Once you have a pair, watch out for

other fish in the tank. Depending on tank size, a pair of Kribensis ready to breed can become quite

territorial in the tank. Having some type of cave available for the female is helpful, and plants

for the fry to hide amongst is also nice. http://cichlid.ipbhost.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif
