I've heard from a couple of

different sources now that the 2008 convention is slated for Atlanta. Is it true?

That

would be great! http://cichlid.ipbhost.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

Yes, BOD approved Atlanta for 2008.

If a club is thinking of 2009, 2010 or 2011

then contact Rusty Wessel asap to coordinate a bid.

Cool! Even though I have to miss this year, I'll be there next

year. http://cichlid.ipbhost.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
I hear the aquarium

there is pretty nice too, so maybe that will be a side trip. http://cichlid.ipbhost.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the

confirmation!

Are you referring to

Tennessee Aquarium, located in Chattanooga?

JanS

I think this one is the Georgia Aquarium (http://www.georgiaaquarium.org/index.aspx) that's

located in Atlanta.

I've heard the Tennessee aquarium is great too though.

Both the Atlanta aquarium

and the Chattanooga aquarium are top notch. I've heard though, that sometimes the visitors out

number the fish in Atlanta. Dan

We will have tours to the

Georgia Aquarium, (the largest in the world), and no the fish definantly outnumber the people, but

we have to get reservations to go, it's that popular! Ken

Now your talking. I almost drove to Chicago. 14 hours. Then fuel prices

went up above $3.00 per gallon and it was cheaper to fly. I bought the tickets and gas prices

dropped..... Still 2hours vs 14 hours.

We will see with Atlanta.

Were

coming Ken

I drove to Chicago it took

about 26 hours but i had two other people to split the gas money with. Sacramento is only about an

11 drive i think. But Atlanta there is no way i can drive there. Guess ill have to try my luck with

flying with fish. Ive never been to Atlanta before except in the airport for connecting flights so

atleast i get to go somewhere new. Ken i bet youre happy about the location. What is the name of

your club?

i always

drive
even though i like flying.

but i was thinking, driving, through the moutians

and going south in the hot part of the summer.
that would be a high gas bill.

Id

still drive anyway,
come a few days early go fishin in flordia, see family, raid Ken Davis,

otherthings......you can do when you have a vehicle.

or do what i do, just find a car

online fly out have the owner/dealer me me at the airport, trade a check for a car.
have a

vehicle while your down there and cuts a couple days off the trip.
