Welcome to the ACA forum. A good place to start your quest is the ACA C.A.R.E.S. page. http://www.cichlid.org/index.php?pageid=aca_cares_preservation_program . There is a List of fish on the page that hobbyist should think about keeping. If you decide on a certain specie try to find out as much information you can about it. Please don't hesitate to ask questions here on the ACA forum. Good luck on finding right fish for your tank.
