I believe Capital Cichlid Assoc.

to be the closest local cichlid club to me. I live in Richmond, Va and unfortunatly we do not

have a fish organization here. When is your show? Hopefully I will be able to attend. I am

currently raising Betta's, Blue Acara's and I think they are Honduran Red Points, but my

guess is that they are not pure, I doubt my Blue Acara's are either. I would really like to

get some better stock; will you be having an auction? I use to show fish when I lived in Ohio

(SCALES) and in Houston, Tx. Currently the only shows I attend are the IBC's, (Betta's); I

miss going to the cichlid shows.

Our normal meetings are the

second Saturday of the month (except July, August & December). Click on the link in my

signature to go to our website for more details. Ted Judy is the speaker at the next meeting (April

14th). We do have mini auctions at our meetings. There is going to be a Fall Fish Festival in

October that will have a Cichlid & Catfish Show plus a bigger auction (more details to come,

soon). From Richmond it is about a 2 hour drive (plus or minus). Hope to see you there!
