Cichla sp brokopondo; I got 2 today...

I woke up to a text from my buddy Mikey at 50 Fathoms that said your Brokopondos are in. I didn't even know he ordered them for me yet, but I have been talking about them constantly. They are about 3.5 inches and I'm digging the blood red eyes. Acclimating them now. Gonna grow them out with some Geos:2 daemons & 2 surinamsis, and juruenese catfish. Just wish I didn't have to work 16 hours today so I could check them out some more.

Very cool Cichla. Also, S. daemon is one of my favorites.

Mike has been pushing me to get into Geos and I've been thinking about a large non aggressive tank too. They are all fairly tiny NOW, but should be playing with some cool colors when they grow out. I also have a school of 4 Hassar Richter catfish in there which are very cool crazy little fish.

One came in very emaciated. I'm actually disappointed that Rapps would ship a fish this expensive in poor condition.
