Those are some great pics. I really like the pikes and the catfish. (I'm a huge fan of both)

What a haul! Nice variety, but the pikes especially caught my eye!

Came back with a pair of Crenicichla punctata blue and about 7 C. saxatalis.
Hope i can breed them.
And i can keep them outdoors all year.

Cool pics! Looks like you had a great time. Is the weather there pretty mild?

We were in shorts and T shirts the whole time, but it gets cold during their winter time. The water will get into the high 30's low 40's.

That's one of the big benefits of these lower latitude fish. They're great for garage fishrooms and unheated basements!

Freshwater barracuda Acestrorhynchus pantaneiro.
I did not bring one of those back, maybe if i caught some small ones, but they were all pretty big.

Yes, its an eel. It was cool, it looked like a mini Morey eel up close, i should have brought him back.

Is the small crustacean the same species as the big one? It looks really odd!

Hey Lisa!
How did all your fish do coming back?

I got stuck in Vail for 3 hours, with all my luggage (fish) out in the carts in the snow!
good thing these guys can take the cold!
