I was cleaning the tank that I've have the tinanti in. Moving rocks around when I noticed a large group of fry moving around. Has any one else had this happen, and I'm wondering if I should remove the fry from the tank or just leave them? I have been adding newly hatched Baby Brine Shrimp when I feed them. They seem to be doing fine in the tank. I just don't want them to be a midday snack.
Thanks

Never bred S. tinante, but S. casuarius fry survived quite well with mom & dad + 4 aunts/uncles in a 20L! I know, waaayy too many fish for this size of tank! Nevertheless the parents did a good job of keeping the other fish away from the fry.
Tinanti are pretty good parents, and they will fill a tank full of fry by spawning on top of spawns.

This will be my next species that I keep for sure. Just love the way they look in a small group.

I have a group of three of them but no spawning so far. Let me know how yours make out.
