F1 Kigoma comps spawned

Well my F1 Kigoma comps have spawned in a Boester bell. I have a filtered 2.5 gallon tank ready and waiting for they fry to hatch.

Do the fry need mom for anything besides protection? Thinking of pulling the bell out and raising the fry in the 2.5 tank. It will be easier for daily water changes and feeding.

All the eggs have tails now (wigglers). I move the bell into a 2.5gal tank with a small sponge filter and heater. I noticed after pulling the bell that the male started to really beat on the female so I moved her as well.

Fry have hatched and are in a 2.5 gal tank. I'm feeding decap brineshrimp eggs and doing daily water changes. So far so good.

So far so good. The fry are taking decap brine and getting daily waterchanges. Sorry for the lack of pics, haven't had a lot of time.

Doing well on a diet of decap brine shrimp eggs and daily waterchanges. Looks like about 40 or so fry. Don't think I have lost any either. Have not seen a corpse yet.

Good job. I snoozed on my wild pairs fry and lost them all over night. Tough little buggers to keep alive.
