Hello,
Just wanted to

show some pics of my single species breeding tank (although they havent bred yet). I switched this

from a show tank to a single species tank a few days ago. Also included some pics of the tank

before it was single species. Let me know what you think! Also, if anyone has or know where

to get large female champs, i'd appreciate any information. I'm in Chicago.

Congrats.

I could not wait and stripped the female.

Lots of fry, I could only keep about half alive.

Bad news http://cichlid.ipbhost.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif the female champsochromis swallowed the eggs after 9

days... i was going to wait 17 days before stripping her... i guess there's always next

month..

Nice Africans. I have

always been a lover of Malawi , especially Aulonocara. What is the fish in pic #8 A German Red, or

a Blood Dragon?. Or at least it looks to be one of the 2.

Leo's avatar is an Aulonocara stuartgranti, possibly from Hai reef or other

locations close to Hai reef. The trade name for this fish is blue neon.

colour.

I was hunting for the best

words for a reply.. I do believe I could not have stated it better http://cichlid.ipbhost.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif He was stressed a bit in this photo so he is

showing a hint darker. Not to mention that was a shot without a flash
