LOSELLI SPAWNED AND I NOW HAVE FREE SWIMMERS

MY LOSELLI PAIR HOOKED UP AGAIN AND I HAVE ABOUT 100 OR SO FREE SWIMMERS. THIS IS A SMALL SPAWN EVEN FOR THEM SO IM ASSUMING STRESS PLAYED A FACTOR AS THEY ARE IN MY COMMUNITY TANK. I WILL BE MOVING THE FRY TO A 20 LONG TO GROW OUT. MY SONS WANT THEM IN THEIR ROOM SO OFF THEY GO :lol:.

Congratulations on the event. We got hold of this fish way back in 1972 when things were not as restricted. They were called Cichlasoma friedrichsthali on the documents, a truly beautiful cichlid and I found them to be much less agggressive than other Central Americans. We bred them but after a few years they were lost in Australia when the African invasion swept the hobby. :(
