Practically any of the similar fish, if you find
breeding info would be the same. Try tretocephalus or trets, there's probably more written
about them.
From my experience, they need to be not only the right size but the right
age. That means 3-4 inches and at least 2-3 years old. I had a colony that I grew, 14 fish, kept
them for almost 3 years. I sold the group and they spawned within 2 months. Dan

Let us know about intra
species agression with N. sexfasciatus. I have not kept them but have attempted Neolamprogus
tretocephalus. That species would not be happy in a 3x3x2 aquarium.
