There seem to be a great number of comments and questions regarding the 2010 ACA convention and its many aspects. I thought it would be interesting and useful to the "powers that be" to get a rough idea of how many forum members attended the convention this year. I'm including choices for both ACA members and non-members to account for any walk through and single day pass attendees.

No way of telling how many of the attendees were forum members. The registered ACA members would be easy becasue they had to do so to get into the speakers. However no way to tell the walk throughs that were just there for the vendors, showroom and fish sales.

Think forum 'user' rather than forum 'member'. This poll is not in the ACA members' only area. I am interested to see if we have forum users who are not ACA members who were at the convention even as walk through guests. So far... 0.

One of my members Pantera was at the convention. He is not an ACA member, nor do I believe he is a member here. He has expressed some interest in joining the ACA post convention and I have encouraged this.

This is my first year as a member and I joined after my club GCAS hosted the convention last year. There are several reasons I joined...
The use of this forum is just one of them.
I survived the tornado this year, and I'm already planning for an extended stay next year in Maryland. I've kept fish for over 40 years, been involved on the retail side of the industry, but it's now strictly a hobby... although like most of you, I'm classified as a Finaddict.
I've known the ACA was out there to join, but didn't until last year.
Figure out why, and maybe someone will figure out how to lure in more members?

:)
