question on membership

I sent money back in Jan. for the ACA convention and to become a ACA member! I have a receipt saying it's paid, but yet i have not received any Buntbarsche or trading post in the mail! Does this not go into effect till the ACA convention?

ditto, I have my membership card and I haven't recieved my Buntbarsche either... I joined at the last ACA in Ohio.

I sent a list of all the people who purchased memberships with their convention registration to Claudia last week. You should be getting the next BB. Since the ACA and convention online payment and ordering systems are not linked, new members joining with convention have usually been added after the event. We are going to try to get new memberships out faster this year.

A warm welcome to the ACA! We are so glad to have you as a valued member!

As Ted has mentioned, your membership has been received by the Membership Chair and your first issue of BB will be the June issue. I have sent you a separate e-mail as well with some of the benefits that you will enjoy as a member of the ACA.

Please never hesitate to jot me an e-mail at ivyrose@optonline.net if you are having a difficulty so that we can be certain that your membership and publications are running smoothly.

I see that you were entered in the database after the convention on 8/31/09. The October, December, February, and April issues were mailed to you at your address in Converse, Texas. I will e-mail you separately to be certain that those issues were going to the correct address. They go by bulk mail which is not returned to sender, or forwarded to a correct address (as your membership card would have been), so possibly there is an address discrepancy.
