My female convict suddenly has an injured fin. It looks like it was pulled too far forward or caught on something. There is a little red area (blood?) where it goes into her side. No blood is spilling from it, it just looks like maybe it bled a little. It is the fin near her gills. I didn't see what happened so I don't know if the male did it or she injured herself on a rock or what. Is there something I should do? Her swimming is not noticeably impacted. She still chases smaller fish around the aquarium. They just had babies but she is still tending to them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Final concentration of tea tree oil may vary between 0.035% to 0.01%. A dose will depend upon stock concentration and volume of tank.

I have always just used salt and clean water to treat an injured fish.
