Okay, the eggs have gotten really dark. They are no longer on the walls of the pot. They are all in the back on the bottom of the pot. Did they die or is this part of it? Thanks and I hope the babies didn't die.:(

Hi Brian,

I am not sure what species we are talking about? But generally speaking after about 3 days they do hatch out into the next stage which we call wrigglers. They have shed the shell and that is why they are dark. They don't stick to the wall any longer and so they will fall off. If you get out a flash light you can probably see that they are "wiggling". This stage will last another 3 days, and then they become "fry", we also call this free swimming. This is the time you will want to begin to feed them.
Hopefully this is the case with your situation.

Thank you. They are fine. I did some searching on youtube and got better visuals. This is my first time witnessing this wonderous event so I wasn't really sure what to expect. The development is really fast. Thanks and I am very excited.
