There are three ways
to view this forum:
1. as a Guest
2. as a Forum Member (labelled as a Member)
3. as
a Forum Member with a current ACA membership (labelled as an ACA Member)
Guests may view
only parts of the forum and post on only a small part of it. TIP: When reading threads
of the posts here you'll find links to photos sometimes within the thread. If you were a member
of the Forum these photos would just appear within the thread automatically. You wouldn't have
to click each photo, each time you visit. Membership of the Forum is FREE.
Members
may view a big part of the Forum and post on those parts. Forum members may view other member profiles. Forum members may
now also use the PM(private message) facility.
Members
that have current membership in the ACA may view practically all sections and take full part in the
activity. (There are some behind the scenes stuff too, (restricted to the staff) primarily just
toggles and switches, used by the staff) <!-
-/coloro-->We don't automatically check to see if you're an ACA Member. It's your
responsibility to send an e-mail to ron@fishpost.com and tell
him you're an ACA Member. When your membership has been verified, you'll see NEW areas
within the Forum list.
If you're a member, to enhance your experiences here, check
the upper right section at the top of your screen (MY CONTROLS, View New Posts, My Assistant, New
Messages).
MY CONTROLS:
We have a profile area
for each member. The info below the screen name comes from the data entered there. Click on their
screen name for further info and alternate contact info. To get to your own, click on either the
"MY CONTROLS" near the top of your screen or your own screen name, enter only the info
you want shared. Telling us where you live allows us to know if you're nearby or on the other
side of the world from us. If you don't chat or IM, don't put anything in those places. If
you've got 6 e-mail addresses the one you prefer to use is probably the only one we need,
someone can also leave a message for you here.
*** If you feel you're famous and
don't want to mingle with those of us that aren't, you can still visit here and not be
bugged by us peasants. When you login just click the additional "login as invisible" box
and you can secretly view all the activities of your underlings, un-IM'd and un-messaged. If,
however, your screen name is known OR you feel compelled to post, eventually the fact that
you've been here will probably come out. Unlike a club meeting, you CAN slip in and out
undetected. You DON'T have to continue to visit us in a Guest status.
Location, as
well as some other important info, should also be in the text of ads in our TP section. The TP
section is an in-work process. As the people that post get asked questions about what airports they
use or alternate methods of shipping, they'll get tired of answering the same questions, again
and again, and will start including that info when they post. Of course, some will be slow to catch
on, so expect to have to question them.

clicking "Mark All Posts As Read" box at the bottom of the index, you'll find a fresh

the top of the screen. Topics that have received new posts will have the ACA emblem highlighted in
red on the left side of the topics in the index. <!--
