Now that is what I am talking

about, nice pics!

How about a few threads on what equipment you are using, flash,

lighting etc....

Thanks Ronald. I use a Canon 350D. There are

two lenses I use for about 90% of my pictures, a 60mm macro and a 28-135 lens with image

stabilisation. I usually use 2 slave flashes positioned on the top of the tank. They have two

advantages, they avoid the ugly shadow you get when using the flash from the front and they keep

the background dark which brings out the fish better.
Please, anybody who has questions, this

is the place to ask them. I am not a photography wizzard and have learned whatever I know through

mistakes. However, I am willing to share whatever I know. http://cichlid.ipbhost.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Thank you Klaus.

Great job on the pictures.
I really like the first one. The dark background really
makes the spots on the fish stand out.

Very nice Klaus.

The beautiful shots bring back memories of these fish. I have kept all but the last Tropheus.

Someday, I would like to try the Tropheus Murago again.
