Hello everyone. I am looking to either purchase this book from someone.

If not, it would be great if another ACA member would be so kind as to let me borrow it. I know this book is uncommon, but I just want to read as much as I can about Ross.

This month's BB was great an really gave me a lot of insight into the part of this hobby that I'd like to get into further.

Hopefully someone will respond to this.

Thanks so much,
John

Sorry I can't help you. I have the book but it's a keeper. It's a fascinating read for anyone who is interested in the history of the hobby.

Yes, it's impossible to find anywhere. I'm pretty disappointed that it's so hard to find. But, I'll keep on looking. Thanks for looking.

I wish it would get republished. I know I'd get one!

Hi guys,

I just came back from Iran and 10 conferences as well as some great collecting (the jet black Iranicichla with ivory-white spots, also living in marine habitats, and the reddish Iranocichla, possibly two separate species). Camn be seen on my website.

But I wanted to tell you all that it is a real pitty that this great book Ross wrote (his only one), is out of print. He really has put some work in it and tells the (mainly) American ornamental fish history in detail.

I have written also a orbituary, of our mutal work during almost 50 years, http://www.aquapress-bleher.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=411&Itemid=1

One should read it and see several photos of this icon of the ornamental fish industry of America. A man that should always be remembered, and not only by fish fanatics although he confessed that he was a fish adicts (like me, also why we always had great times, if in work or pleasure, because all we did is talk about fishes...).

Have a good reading. It is also on my website under LATEST NEWS

best regards to all of you, from another fish adicts and collector,

Heiko Bleher

I bought the book. Let me tell you, it's really hard to find. And once you read it, you especially realize how much of a pity it is that it's out of print. I was really lucky to get a copy of it. I hear there's talk of it being reprinted...
