Using Blackworms

I get my blackworms from a

local fishstore. They get new worms in every Monday and I try to get them early in the week,

before they degrade in quality. I have not had problems feeding blackworms to fish in the past.

Do any of you use them?

Fed blackworms and brine

shrimp to my marine fish for 15 years without a problem. Have yet to feed them to my cichlids.

Heard so much about bloat that I don't want to risk changing my routine.

I think black worms are

great, I feed them to my protein eaters when I have them. Most of these are now raised in cement

vats, which makes them a lot cleaner then they were in the past. I usually buy a pound at a time,

and then I have a drip system, that I run water over them to keep them going until I feed them.



I find they are really great for getting my substrate spawners in the mood!
