Rather than

wait I thought I'd answer here to give a better idea of the Trading Post to non-ACA members.

Basically, there are three areas:
1. Cichlids
2. Non-cichlids _ e.g. -catfish
3. Fish related items_ e.g. -tanks, filters, light fixtures, books, videos, etc.

In

EACH category you can list:
1. Items for sale
2. Items you'd like to buy
3.

Items you'd like to trade for or items you'd like to trade.

In general, it's

a good idea to mention where you live, whether you are willing to ship the items or if it's for

local pick-up only.

I'd also mention how you prefer to ship. You'll want to list

how you want to get paid and when. You should mention any guarantees.

I've probably

missed something. Think about the questions you'd ask if you were intending to buy fish and

then provide the answers to your potential buyers. Flip the conversation if you're the buyer

and provide how you'd prepare your fish for shipping and how you'd pack them to send to

others.

You can also do a "search" on the Trading Post for threads where the

topic came up.

If you are a ACA member you

need to contact Ron at Fishpost and let him know . He will ask you to verify your membership. Right

now, your listed as a forum member only, this is why you cannot access the T.P. Forum members are

allowed certain areas but not all the areas. Some areas are just for ACA members only. If your not

a member, you need to join the ACA.

shows up if you're an ACA member with verified status. I mainly answered here to allow non-ACA

members to get a glimpse of what the TP could do for them. Imagine discovering that despite the

market for the fish you raise drying up in your immediate area, that there are markets where the

same fish are in high demand at high dollar levels.

hhello i am having

the same issue i am a new member as in the last 2 weeks but i have regestered with the aca and set

ron a message and recieved a confirmation at my current e mail address but still no access to

asnything in the tp so if someone can help[ out this non computer savy individual] it would be

greatly appreciated
