Has anybody kept these
guys? They are quite an attractive fish. just looking for some first hand experience before I
decide to dive in and get some.

I have a few left after
losing many.
IMO, get a BIG tank. They are aggressive as adults and will not

tanks are used.
A number of folks who keep this fish use other Madagascan fish in the tank to
help distract the lamena and disperse the aggresion.
The fish accept a broad range of
water conditions and do well with hard alkaline water. The fish take whatever food is offered. I
have not seen any breeding activity to date.
