Never heard of anyone else

having these spawn.

Congrats on accomplishment.

Any tricks?

Thanks everyone. I managed

to raise only 8 fry from this spawn. I am preparing to reintroduce the pikes as soon as they are

conditioned.

I forgot, I have a video on

YouTube of the fry feeding off their mother. Very interesting to watch

I am curious if there

has been anymore spawns and how the fry are doing?

What is the set up you are using for

these fish?

style="color:purple">I can't answer for Rumple, but I had a pair of these for

awhile that were actually quite peaceful (well, for pike anyway). When they were trying to spawn,

the female was evil incarnate, but any other time she even left alone the severums in the tank.

She had them trained that if she was glowing, they gave her a wide berth, but they were almost

always undamaged by her. The male was quite meek and you could literally see the little bubble

over his head saying "Yes Dear" when she swam around, hehe. At 6", they were a

fantastic fish to have. I know they'll get larger, so I let them go to a friend for her 125

gallon (ok, yes, I talked her into taking them before they murdered anyone at my house in a 55

gallon style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif). They don't glow in the dark or anything, but they were very

interesting mid sized pike!
