I am not one to say

that this food is or can not be good for Malawi Cichlids for I have never tried it, however I am

wondering why it is that you were advised to feed them a Discus derived diet?

I

can't read whatever language this is, sorry.

Israel is a world leader in

aquaculture. You should be able to find relatively fresh foods for your cichlids locally. Remember

to buy a size that you'll use up in a period of about 6 weeks. Dan

I found the same URL but was

also unable to translate the page into English, I tried Babel and other of the more popular

choices.

I would also agree with fishmaven. Another plus is local supplier may be more

helpful if you wish to find more information on your choice of food.

My question was in

no way to say that it may be unwise to use a Discus related product for your cichlids, I have never

tried

My limited work with Discus compared to African cichlids doesn't help on if

the diet would be beneficial. I do however know in the wild both discus and African cichlids share

the same love for blue green algae. So it may well be that they may do well on "Pets Family

Discus Granulat Food"

It has high

protein, dont forget Discus is a South American cichlid.

Thank

you for your effort.

It is the same link I posted the pictures, I belihve it is Turkish.

but is a local pet store, not the manufacturer, according to the picture, it is manufacturer in PRC

- China. I found it here localy in some stores, and was told that they are OEM for very known brand

fish foods. But the thing thank makes me wondered that is DOES not have an expiration date or

manufacturered date on box. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif

If this fish food comes from

China or anywhere else that buys raw protein from China, then read this
