Nice East coast gold. I have 10 of these guys about 3
-4 inches but I guess sexual maturity comes a bit latter cause I'm still waiting to have some
babies. Congrats.

My pair 1st bred at 3.5 for the male and only
2" for the female. The 1st spawn mysteriously disappeared, the 2nd the fry are now almost an
inch. 1st food pureed peas because artemia seemed too large, until they were 3 days free
swimming.
Here some shots of my female +.

These images appear to be Ptychochromis oligacanthus rather than
Ptychochromis grandidieri (East Coast Gold). Unfortunately, I do not post images on forums but if
you are interested in viewing some images of P. grandidieri, let me know and I will send them via
email.

I'd agree, they look like the
mainland Oligacanthus from the Manajeba river. Definately not Grandidieri which are a much plainer
fish.
