After you submit for an
account here, an email will be sent to you. You have to then complete the validation process that
is used to verify your email address before your account will be enabled.
Be sure to use

I am getting some lost emails
from the confirmation process. Basically, the email addresses some are using are not correct and
the mail is bouncing back to me. Be sure you ALLOW this website to send you mail and that the
address you type in is correct.

Would it be possible to get
anybody joining to list his/her location, even state or province would already be better then what
we have. I find it very annoying to read (Example) WTB or For Sale posts without knowing if I talk
to somebody next door or from Australia. Just a thought......

We have a profile area for each member. The location info below the screen name comes from the
data entered there. Click on their screen name for further info and alternate contact info. To get
to your own, click on either the MY CONTROLS near the top of your screen or your own screen name,
enter only the info you want shared. If you don't IM, don't put anything there. If
you've got 6 e-mail addresses the one you prefer to use is probably the only one we need,
someone can also leave a message for you here. I've been trying to get the other moderators to
flesh out their profiles as models. It would be nice if everyone were to do so. Of course, for the
geographically challenged, Ontario could mean California vs Canada. <grin>
I
agree, location, as well as some other important info, should also be in the text of ads in our TP
section. The TP section is an in-work process. As the people that post get asked questions about
what airports they use or alternate methods of shipping, they'll get tired of answering the
same questions, again and again, and will start including that info when they post. Of course, some
will be slow to catch on, so expect to have to question them.
It took me a while to
figure out the meaning of WTB (wanted to buy). I kept wondering why they didn't use WTD for
wanted. So even old-timers have a few things to learn. Dan

Dan don't worry,
I'm an "oldtimer" too and have some trouble to learn the "forum lingo".
