The American Cichlid Association (ACA) has established a Club Liaison Program. The role of Club Liaison was created to act as an intermediary between the ACA and local aquarium societies. The aim is to facilitate timely communication between the ACA and the local clubs, to effectively promote the activities of the ACA and to promote cichlid events that are operated by the local clubs. The aim is to ensure that local clubs are kept informed of cichlid events that are being hosted by other clubs, as well as to recognize clubs and club members for their efforts in keeping, breeding and promoting cichlids. There is no requirement for the local clubs to join the ACA; however, each local club will be asked to appoint a contact person (delegate) who has ready access to e-mail, as this will be the medium used to facilitate the transfer of information..
If your club would like to participate in this program, thereby enjoying a timely exchange of information on cichlid related events, please contact me. I will need the name of the club and the name (and e-mail address) of the contact person. I will follow up from there.

Ted Judy
